Composers boosted development of romantic music
The romantic period emerged slowly around 1830. Composers wanted to express their emotion deeply and attempted to use music convey their ideas through different way. There are some composers who were outstanding in music history, and they promoted the development process of romantic music.
1. Felix Mendelesohn(1809-1847)- He was German and was a major romantic period composer. Felix was a genius because he led a performance of Bach's St. Matthew Passion when he was young. Also, he composed for symphonies, concertos, oratorios and piano pieces.
3. Johannes Brahms (1833-1897)was a German also, and he was very popular and influent in his lifetime. Brahms led many performances and composed for ensembles, symphony, piano and orchestra.
4. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) was the a Russian composer. His music led a lasting impression internationally, and connected in Europe and the United States.
5. Frederic Chopin (1810-1849) was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist in Romantic era. He was one of the leading musicians of his era, and he was" Poetic genius was based on a professional technique that was without equal in his generation" (Wikipedia). |

8. Richard Wagner(1813-1883) was German composer, and he was famous for his operas Wagner wrote many compositions for operas and developed them through the his concept of the Gesamtkunstwerk. He worked in romantic vein of Weber and Meyerbeer.
10. Fanny Mendelssohn(1805-1847) was German pianist and composer. She composed including a piano trio and plenty books of solo piano pieces and songs. Mendelssohn created over 460 pieces of music.
